Another #Undertale post

AzzA here. My Undertale 99% blind run is tomorrow at 1 PM Central. I wanted to talk about a couple things I have been asked.

What does 99% blind mean?

I have played the demo. I wasn't very impressed so I just left it alone. I've read a couple reviews that Ant and Louie pre-screened to try to figure out why I didn't like it, but everyone else seems to love it so much.

If you didn't like the demo, why didn't you read spoilers? 

Rex regretted playing the first time off-stream. I figured I should stream it blind if I played it at all.

Why play it now? 

For the children! I promised a blind run during Extra Life and got donations specifically mentioning it.

Are you just going to trash the game?

No. I wouldn't play something just to bash it. That wouldn't be fun for me or anyone watching. If something is really great, I will react accordingly.

Are you going to "have a change of heart" and love the game?

Who knows? Hopefully, my opinion will change. Just like I said, I will react how I react. I won't fake loving it any more than I would hating it. I won't disrespect the game or it's fans like that.

Undertale on the schedule

Because I met my Extra Life goal, I'm playing Undertale for the first time (other than the demo) on the 21st. I have read some reviews, but no spoilers. If you can't make it, I will be posting a video on the TXKHotsauce NWA Stream Archive.


While I play, I will be trying to get Rex's goal met too! He has some great things planned when he makes it.



Personally, I'd like to get all three teams to $200 so we can get a t-shirt per team. Right now, I'm feeling bad that we got them but no one else.

I am blown away. I literally screamed when I saw that $100 donation, but that's not really a surprise. I haven't figured out when I can do the stream, but will be scheduling it soon. Since we got $200, here's your chance to vote on how I play.

We are in the home stretch for Extra Life. As of noon on Nov 1, we have $61 as a team. We would like to do more so we have set some goals for giveaways and challenges.

We are open to adding to these. Comment if you have anything you would like for us to consider adding. You don't have to say what you would donate to see it, but it would be nice.

Howdy! Rexstrider here! ( I did not make that title ;D ) ... and this is going to hurt... but.ill do it......FOR THE CHILDREN ><

 

  At 100$  I'll.... I'll stream a LIVE Longplay (EDIT  had too push to 10th due to work) @Nov, 10th, 5pmCST of Undertale on a ....... Genocide run  until I beat Sans [ Until he Sleeps] ( It will be the hardest play-through of my life as I relate to every one of the main characters in this game... again.. for the kids... Q.Q)

   

At 200$ EDIT) I have agreed to do the whole dang 12 GHOST PEPPER Buffalo wild wing challenge now and record it! expect it soon! ( give me 2 weeks.. as I have a bit lip and i don't want to be destroyed >.>) BUT

 

For every 50$ till $400  1 added Blazing Buffallo Wild Wing will be eaten during the Sans fight!!!!

 

If we hit our 500$ team goal.... I'll do the FULL Genocide run.. all the way till reset....Q.Q

and being a fan of Cavestory too since that means you enjoy Indy games

ABOUT
Why am I doing this? Back when this first came out I played 10 hours nonstop and now I'm kicking myself in the foot because.... 1. I did not capture one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long time on video 2. I did not make anything to contribute and share this amazing game with people so they can okay and make an connection with the game themselves. I feel Toby's deserves all the praise and sales he gets for pretty much single handily making this game over 3 years. More importantly I want this game to resonate with more people on an emotional level like it did me and it felt like I missed a chance to do that..
BUT I stayed determined and came up with an idea. And that's why this is a thing.
Trying to share the game with as many as I can ;).

Chat RULES
 The longplay will be an True Pacifist run RIGHT after a true reset. I will be going through the game as if it was a blind run so I don't spoil the game for people watching for the first time, I ask you do the same in chat plz. NO SPOILERS PLZ OR YOU WILL BE BANNED AND DROPPED OUT OF THE RAFFLE ;3

So people that have played get to spot differences if any.. they should be minor, and new players get to see a run of the game without spoilers XD. I will also be hunting a few Easter eggs I now know of but not doing them all... just letting ya know about them and giving you a reason to do a playthrough yourself ;D. I plan to do a 9 hour longplay that go's through 2 endings.

So plz tell everyone who is interested in this game even people that want to get copy's for there friends!! I'd be happy even giving it to someone who already owns the game. Just means they can gift it to someone that needs one  ^^
